ATTENTION COACHES AND PARENTS:
The lightning detection systems at Joint Venture and Sharon Springs Parks are in place for the safety of all players and spectators. When the siren sounds, there is a very high threat of lightning strikes at the parks. ALL players need to immediately leave the fields and go into a building or automobile.
Under no circumstances should any of the players have a lacrosse stick in their hands or be out in the open from the time the siren goes off until the 3-horn blast, all-clear signal sounds.
The all-clear will sound after a period of 30 minutes without a lightning strike detection event.
Thank you, SFLYLA Board
